CMS Announces CY 2026 ESRD Prospective Payment System (PPS) Proposed Rule
June 30, 2025 The Calendar Year (CY) 2026 End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Proposed Rule was displayed on June 30, 2025. Each year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issues a proposed rule to update the Medicare payment policies and rates under the PPS for renal dialysis services furnished to beneficiaries on or after January 1 of the following year. This rule proposes updates to the ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP) requirements.
