NHSN Submission Deadlines for Calendar Year 2024 ESRD QIP Data

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) quarterly submission deadlines for calendar year (CY) 2024 data are listed below and include the following End Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program (ESRD QIP) measures:

NHSN Bloodstream Infection (BSI) in Hemodialysis Patients
NHSN Dialysis Event Reporting
COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage Among Healthcare Personnel (HCP)

Dialysis facilities must submit NHSN data by the deadlines listed below. Not submitting the required data by these deadlines puts your facility at risk of an ESRD QIP payment reduction. Please note, that if the last day of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal holiday, the deadline will occur on the next federal business day.
