ESRD Applications Unavailable March 16 – 21, 2016

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will implement an extended system maintenance of its Health Care Quality Information System (HCQIS) Data Center from March 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. ET to March 21, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

During this time, all ESRD Quality Reporting Systems (EQRS) will be unavailable. CMS will move its HCQIS Data Center – affecting the availability of all HCQIS applications, which includes EQRS applications such as:

• Consolidated Renal Operations in a Web-Enabled Network (CROWNWeb)
• Renal Management Information System (REMIS)
• ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP)

The inaccessibility also includes services such as QualityNet.org, Remedy, and the Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN).

Please make plans to ensure that all necessary data and forms are reported within a timely manner given lack of access between March 16 and 21.
